One Dead in Gurnee (IL) Home Explosion

Chicago-area fire photographer Tim Olk shared some photos of crews at the scene of a recent fatal home explosion in the village of Gurnee, Illinois.

According to a report from the Chicago Daily Herald, one person was found dead following the blast. The explosion, which was reportedly felt up to six miles away and destroyed one home while damaging at least six others, remains under investigation by the state fire marshal.
