Buffalo (NY) firefighters responded to a recent commercial building fire. The original fire building was a 1 ½-story, wood frame dwelling.

The fire extended to an exposure building, which was a large, 2 ½-story, wood frame dwelling. Smoke and fire consumed the first and second floor of the fire building.

Crews backed out and set up for defensive operations via tower ladders. Three tower ladders were in operation to knock down the main body of fire. Truck 13 was the first-due truck and took the main fire building. The exposure buildings were taken by Truck 7, which took the front of the exposure building, and Truck 2, which took the exposure 4 side.
