NFPA calls for papers for annual meeting

Authors wishing to present a paper at the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Annual Meeting, to be held November 16-18, 1998, in Atlanta, Georgia, should submit abstracts by March 1. Papers should be noncommercial and of technical and professional merit on topics pertaining to the advancement of life safety such as technological breakthroughs, code administration and enforcement, cost-benefit analysis of code enforcement, fire suppression policies, and public education.

The following should be forwarded with the paper: a brief biographical sketch, the name of the organization or affiliation, and a mailing address. Presentations submitted should not exceed 30 minutes. All material should be forwarded to Casey C. Grant, assistant vice president, Codes and Standards Administration; NFPA; P.O. Box 9101; Quincy, MA 02269-9101. Indicate “1998 Fall Meeting” on the package.
