NEW LIGHTING TECHNOLOGY LITERATURE
Literature is available from Tomar Electronics that describes a new series of NEOBE products for the emergency service market. The NEOBE products, through a combination of strobe and neon technologies, achieve more than a 30 percent increase in light output due to high energy-to-light conversion. With improved xenon materials, Tomar has extended lamp life approximately 300 to 3,000 operating hours. NEOBE warning lights arc hermetically sealed strobe lamp units; by keeping water out of the lamp, the reflective material does not deteriorate and light is directed forward. In addition, the units feature polyurethane rosin as a potting compound to provide water and vibration resistance for longer life and cooler operation. All Tomar power supplies now have an operating range of 12 through 28VDC and include reverse polarity protection to prevent damage if improperly hooked up.
