International CTIA WIRELESS Event Announced for 2012

Washington, D.C. — December 6, 2011 CTIA issued a formal save-the-date for International CTIA WIRELESS® 2012, the event for all things mobile, on May 8-10 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

CTIA also announced an exhibit floor expansion and has advised participants to book flights and hotels as soon as possible to ensure the best rates and availability and avoid possible overbooking.

Based on astounding demand, CTIA expanded into a new hall, Hall G, to accommodate the growing number of companies who know their presence at CTIA is essential to their commercial profile. Among other things, the expansion represents the infiltration of mobile into business plans across vertical industries and the importance of International CTIA WIRELESS 2012 to make the right connections.

As the city of New Orleans prepares for the influx of more than 40,000 mobile industry professionals, CTIA show management has advised attendees and exhibitors to book flights and hotels as soon as possible.

“International CTIA WIRELESS 2012 reflects the North American mobile industry that is the epicenter of innovation, investment and revenue,” said Robert Mesirow, vice president and show director of CTIA. “Our new timing later in the spring and the popularity of New Orleans have contributed to unprecedented pre-event buzz, which will continue to build as we announce keynotes, educational programming and other event highlights.”
