Ohio Explosion Kills One

Kanauga, OH, November 7, 2001-A tanker truck caught fire and exploded at an asphalt plant on November 5, killing one person and severely burning another.

The truck contained asphalt and diesel fuel in different compartments, and a hazardous materials team worked to keep the mixture from entering the Ohio River.

The cause of the fire is under investication.
