WHITE CITY, OR – Highway Products Inc. has introduced its custom Strongback™ Fire Truck Body for brush and wildland firefighting fire apparatus. These lightweight marine-grade aluminum beds are built for easy maneuverability and operation in tough-to-reach areas and difficult terrains inaccessible with larger fire trucks. These field-tested units feature a frame made of six-inch structural T6 extruded aluminum “C” channel side rails, four-inch long sills, and cross members on 12-inch centers to endure extreme off-road use. Boxes and baskets are designed to carry maximum tools and supplies and to provide quick access when every second counts.
Highway Products builds these units for GMC, Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Freightliner, International or other brand trucks. Highway Products also works with National Fire Fighter Corporation to build these units to fit individual needs.
