Rosenbauer expands dealer network in Eastern Canada

Rosenbauer America is pleased to announce its expansion into eastern Canadian markets through the appointment of Areo-Feu/Areo-Fire of Longueuil, Quebec, as the company’s dealer for the provinces of Quebec, New Brunswick, and Labrador. Areo-Feu will also cover portions of northern Ontario from north of Kingston westward to Sault Saint Marie.

The appointment of Areo-Feu became effective May 10, 2008.

A full-service dealership with 40 employees, Areo-Feu caters to a French and English speaking clientele of career and volunteer fire departments from a world-class 35,000 square-foot facility just south of Montreal. Areo-Feu has become one of the primary suppliers of quality firefighting and fire protection services and equipment for eastern Canada’s municipalities, industry and government agencies. The company has achieved this position through inventory maintenance, expansion and empowering the members of its team to preserve the performance necessary to support their growth.

The company, which represents some of the highest-profile equipment brands in the North American fire service, has mobile road service capability and a 10-bay service center with an enclosed pump-testing area utilizing an underground water storage tank.

Founded in 1951 by Mr. Jean Picard, day-to-day management of the company is handled by Jean-Max Picard, President; Helene Picard, Vice President; and Josee Guillemette, Controller.
