American Fire Pump Company announces the addition of Barry P. Coffsky as Marketing Manager. He will be responsible for sales and marketing throughout the United States.
American LaFrance has announced the appointment of Fred J. Lett, Jr. to the position of Executive Vice President of Marketing. In this new position, he assumes marketing and customer service responsibility for fire apparatus, commercial trucks and special products.
A slide-cassette program on restaurant fire inspection has been made available by Ansul Fire Protection, a division of Wormald U.S., Inc. Titled “Restaurant Inspection Overview,” it is a 13-minute program designed to familiarize the viewer with the detection, actuation, and distribution network typically found in a restaurant fire suppression system installation.

FireOut Systems, Ltd., a new and substantial entity, has purchased all marketing and manufacturing rights to FireOut firefighting agent. They also have all rights to the United States Patent.
L. Dennis Kozlowski has been named President of Grinnell Fire Protection Systems Company, Inc., a subsidiary of Tyco Laboratories, Inc. He succeeds Earl G. Page, who has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grinnell.
Grumman Corporation received a contract to provide six fire trucks to the Ministry of Civil Defense in Lebanon. They will be used in Beruit. The six specially designed trucks will be delivered during the first quarter of 1984, They will be dual agent, water/foam pumpers. The value of the delivery is placed at about $1 million.
James E. Merriam, vice president and general manager, announced the appointment of Dean H. Hoover as Marketing Manager of Mars Signal Light Company. His responsibilities include domestic and international sales, participation in trade shows and product promotion.
Spartan Motors of Charlotte, is pleased to announce the addition of Dennis M. Chamberlain as Eastern Regional Sales Manager. Mr. Chamberlain has been involved in the fire apparatus manufacturing area for the past 18 years.
