The Rochester (NY) Fire Department responded for smoke coming from a building. Further updates reported to be an auto detailing shop. Companies arrived with smoke showing from a single story concrete block building.

Firefighters from Group 3 (Twitter @iaff1071) had found fire from the C and D side. The building had a flat roof and a number of cars in one of the driveways slightly hampered efforts.

After gaining access to the building fire met them at the door which was marked with a red “X,” signifying no entry. The inside of the garage appeared to be filled with vehicles and debris.

An extra engine was called to the scene with strong winds from the C side.

AMR provided two ALS ambulances on scene and the Rochester Police Department secured several roads. The Rochester Fre Investigation Unit was investigating the cause and no injuries were reported.
