The Thai Oil Company, Ltd. (Thaioil)’s NATIONAL FOAM, INC. aerial platform protects its refinery complex in Sriracha, Chonburi, Thailand. It can throw heavy streams of water and foam from an elevated position, and the platform allows personnel to direct multiple streams from a secure observation position for added safety. Abhnant Supatrabutra, HSEQL manager, explains that the approximately 700-acre facility, a highly sophisticated oil-refining complex, has a capacity of 220,000 barrels of crude oil and feed stock intake per day and a staff of approximately 750, making it the largest of the six oil-refining companies in Thailand (28 percent of total inland capacity).
