IAFF Offers Q-and-A Document on NFPA 1710

The International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), in conjunction with the International Association of Fire Chiefs, has developed a document in the Question-and-Answer format pertaining to National Fire Protection Association 1710, Standard for the Organization and Deployment of Fire Suppression, Emergency Medical Operations, and Special Operations to the Public by Career Fire Departments.

The document, which covers topics such as the standard’s purpose, legal implications, and fire service and EMS compliance, is available online at http://daily.iaff.org/images/1710Q&A.pdf. A copy of the document will be mailed to IAFF leaders.
