  • ALEXIS FIRE EQUIPMENT CO. launched a new corporate brand strategy, Web site, and online merchandise store. The new logo, as well as its new tagline “Driven to Serve,” can be found on the company’s revamped Web sites, which have been redesigned to provide a more user-friendly experience across all platforms. The Web sites offer improved navigation and functionality throughout, allowing customers to access detailed apparatus information with the option to share information across all major social networking sites. The updated AlexisFire.com Web site includes extensive product information to help customers gain knowledge about Alexis Fire Equipment’s custom fire apparatus product line. www.alexisfire.com.

  • INNOTEX® acquired Confections Aventure, a specialized garment manufacturer. Confections Aventure’s 55 employees will join INNOTEX’s team of 180 employees in the pursuit of its unabated worldwide growth. Confections Aventure shares INNOTEX’s high standards of excellence and performance. INNOTEX has also secured substantial agreements with the fire department of Mexico City, Mexico that, with an estimated value of $1.5 million, will require the production of 1,000 turnouts and just as many pairs of gloves and hoods. Other orders include those from Kuwait and Panama, made earlier this year for 600 and 1,000 turnouts, respectively, adding up to a value of $3 million.
