System consists of a nonlubricated air-boosting section, double-acting, single-stage configuration. The unit is noncontaminating, providing complete separation between the driving air and the air being boosted. The unit can boost directly into SCBA bottles from an existing multistage mechanical compressor system with purification and storage, existing storage cylinders, or low-pressure compressor.
