AFAA Announces New Sales Training

“Jump into Fire!” sales training responds to request of industry.

The Automatic Fire Alarm Association (AFAA), a leading nationwide organization and industry advocate for improving fire and life safety systems, has just released a new classroom seminar called “Jump into Fire!”.

“Jump into Fire” is a training program intended to benefit the sales side of the fire alarm business. It was developed in response to overwhelming requests to provide more information regarding selling fire alarm services and other related opportunities. The seminar reviews codes and standards, fire alarm system fundamentals, how to define your market segments, selling testing and inspection, plus, it addresses several other related sales opportunities.

The one-day “Jump into Fire” classroom seminar will make its inaugural debut in Phoenix, AZ on July 13, 2011. It will be presented by Mike Baker, Training Director for AFAA and dedicated associate of the fire protection industry. Mike teaches a variety of fire alarm and NICET level classes to industry manufacturers, distributors and specifying influences nationwide.
