The Mariven industrial facility in Cardon, Venezuela recently purchased a Chubb National Foam foam-water tower unit. Mariven needed a high, articulated boom with a nozzle and no platform. Bronto of Finland was the only manufacturer that would mount a boom without a platform, so the Mack R chassis was shipped to Finland for the unusual feature to be added.

The Bronto Skylift Model 27-3 is a three-section articulated elevating tower with a working height of 88 feet and a maximum outreach of 54 feet. The absence of the platform raises the working height of this unit to 92 feet. The hydraulic monitor nozzle mounted at the tower is controlled at the turntable.
