Driver Extricated After Collision with LAFD Ambulance

City of Los Angeles (CA) firefighters perform extrication operations at the scene of a collision.

A woman was seriously injured after the car she was driving struck a City of Los Angeles (CA) ambulance earlier this week, and fire photographer Rick McClure shared some pics of the extrication.

The collision occurred around 3:10 am Monday morning. The female driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle involved in the accident, was extricated and transported to an area trauma center.

Firefighters riding in the ambulance involved in the crash were not injured.
