Ocala (FL) Fire Rescue Employee Achieves 30 Years of Service

Fire Captain Alan Peters with Ocala (FL) Fire Rescue has achieved 30 years of service. He currently is a fire safety inspector in the fire prevention division. Captain Peters was hired in 1982, and was one of the first paramedics to work at Ocala Fire Rescue.

Captain Peters was recognized for his service to the community at a city council meeting on August 7th. “I am proud of my career with the fire department, the people I work with, the citizens I serve and the city of Ocala,” he stated.

Alan has previously held the positions of firefighter, fire equipment operator, rescue captain, and fire captain.
