A woman is suing members of the Lead Mines (VA) Volunteer Rescue Squad for more than $1 million, claiming that first responders dropped and injured her while trying to transport her to a hospital.
A report on www.tricities.com (http://bit.ly/VX6DBr) says that the lawsuit filed by an attorney for Ruby Mooney names two unidentified squad members as defendants
The suit claims that, during an July 2012 attempt to transport Mooney from a home to a waiting ambulance, the two responders dropped the plaintiff, causing severe injuries.
