Firefighters Battle Glenwood (IL) Apartment Fire

Numerous people were displaced by a Saturday apartment fire in the village of Glenwood, Illnois. Chicago-area fire photographer Steve Redick shared some photos and video from the fireground.

Glenwood Fire Chief Kevin Welsh said firefighters helped escort a number of residents from the fire at the two-story fire, according the nwi.com. No one was injured.

The fire had already reached into the attic and roof when firefighters arrived on the scene, the report said. Welsh believes the building was a total loss.
