Senior Instructor, Traditions Training LLC.

This drill provides insight into the importance of observation and response district familiarization. You will also find some tips for the first-arriving companies of how to handle the particular issue at hand.

The fireground challenge that is encountered depicts an entrance door to a two-bedroom apartment. Once the door is opened, it completely isolates the hallway leading to both bedrooms behind it. A few tips are given for fireground-proven tactics that combat this situation quickly. The companies operating will need to display excellent team work in order to overcome this obstacle proficiently, ultimately enhancing search capabilities along with fire attack.
