VFIS Launches VFIS University

VFIS, a provider of insurance, education, training and consulting services to emergency service organizations, has introduced VFIS University, its enhanced distance learning system. Developed in conjunction with TargetSolutions, a leading provider of online training for public safety agencies, VFIS University enhances previous VFIS distance learning platform. At www.VFISu.com, VFIS University provides free educational programs for emergency service organizations insured by VFIS, including fire departments, ambulance and rescue squads and 911 centers. Access to complete TargetSolutions offerings are available to all emergency service organization on a paid basis, and available at a discount to VFIS insureds. “In our continuous efforts to improve safety and operations of emergency services organizations through education, training, risk management and insurance programs, VFIS has joined forces with TargetSolutions to develop VFISu.com,” said William F.
