A raging house fire lit up the night sky over Floral Park on Long Island, New York, as flames and heavy smoke engulfed a two-story home on Whittier Avenue.
Firefighters were called to the scene just after 7:30 p.m. on January 23 and flames were already shooting from the front of the house.
Several surrounding departments were summoned to the scene to assist. County Fire Marshals were also responding to determine a cause.
