Angus Fire Amour Corporation is restructuring and expanding its U. S. manufacturing operations at Angier, N.C. to include a complete line of fire fighting foams and related application equipment. Patrick O’Brien has been appointed to direct this segment of their business. Prior to joining Angus, he was general manager of Lorcon Foam, Inc. for six years and a member of the NFPA Foam Committee.

William C. Malone has been appointed general manager of Everson Ross company. Everson Ross, located in N.Y., manufactures badges and accessories for the fire service.

The Gorman-Rupp Company, headquartered in Mansfield, Ohio, has appointed John Zgela as manager of fire pump sales. Mr. Zgela was formerly the sales application engineer for the fire, construction, agriculture and petroleum markets.

The Los Angeles City Fire Department has purchased $ 1.4 million of newly designed selfcontained breathing apparatus (SCBA) manufactured by Survivair a division of U.S.D. Corporation. The fire department will use the Mark 2 SCBAs for respiratory protection in fire and contaminated enviornments.
