Silent Knight Unveils 25-Point Addressable Fire Alarm

Silent Knight by Honeywell has developed a 25-point fire alarm offering all the high-tech benefits of addressable technology at the cost of a conventional system. The new IFP-25 fire alarm control panel and compatible HFS devices will be introduced at the NFM&T Show, booth # 660 in Baltimore, Maryland, March 16-18

A cost-effective, addressable fire protection solution is now available for applications where two to five-zone conventional fire alarm systems have historically been installed. The addressable features of the IFP-25 include pin-point identification of alarm/trouble locations and false alarm prevention via detector drift compensation and automatic maintenance alerts. Installation time-savers such as easy code-wheel addressed detectors, a “JumpStart” programming feature and a built-in programming browser to eliminate custom software requirements, simplify the process of commissioning an addressable system. The IFP-25 supports any combination of the new addressable HFS detectors and modules that are economically priced and runs on only a single loop of standard wire (not shielded or twisted pair), offering additional cost-savings.

All IFP Series fire protection products are available through Silent Knight’s Farenhyt Engineered Systems Distributors. Farenhyt Distributors are qualified and knowledgeable fire alarm system professionals who have been factory trained on Silent Knight products.
