Firefighters advance a hoseline into a burning building

Easley (SC) firefighters responded to this recent dwelling fire on the morning of January 23, 2018.

The single-story, single-family home was unoccupied and a total loss, but the bicycle laying beside the walkway was a key indicator the home could’ve been occupied. The photo agove was taken by a Pickens County Sheriff’s Deputy and show two Easley firefighters advancing a hoseline through the front door. The fire was brought under control with three engine companies and one tanker company.
