Firefighters from a number of companies responded to a commercial structure fire on May 18, 2018, in Dawson, Pennsylvania.

Multiple fire companies in Fayette and Westmoreland Counties in Pennsylvania responded to the fire in Chubboy’s Tavern. First-arriving units encountered heavy fire conditions along with structural collapse of the building. 

According to a news report, fire went through the roof of the structure, and crews were unable to make entry. Although the building was a total loss, an American flag survived the flames. There were no reported injuries.
