The tapes are made from a highly durable thermoplastic elastomer and are precoated with either a natural rubber or high performance acrylic adhesive. Placed on vehicles, they’re strong enough to protect against stone chips.

Safety Technology Inc. has released a brochure on Backsensor, an ultrasonic rear surveillance system.
The principles of how Backsensor works are explained in the brochure, as well as how it can be installed and maintained. The electronically controlled device, designed to be an additional safety measure, alerts drivers in three ways: an audible alarm; a precise distance readout to the object; and by helping to track distance.

Conditioner literature
Literature on Pump Plus, an air compressor/battery conditioner, is available from Kussmaul Electronics Co.
The air compressor is designed to mount on vehicles with air brakes to maintain air pressure when the system isn’t in use. The battery conditioner is completely automatic, with two outputs to maintain the charge in two batteries. The literature provides specifications and descriptions for both.
