The Buchanan Township (MI) Fire Department responds with this HME rescue pumper to all incidents except natural cover fires. Chief Tim Jesswein says the unit replaced a pumper and an equipment truck. It has a larger cab for more personnel and provides a temporary shelter from the elements. The foam system helps reduce staffing costs and assists with overhaul.

The South Plainfield (NJ) Fire Department designed this E-ONE platform quint in a rear-mount fashion. Chief Tom Scalera says the surrounding departments all have mid-mount platforms and, at times, the department is requested to provide service where the rear-mount design would be advantageous. The department protects a suburban residential area with wide streets as well as some industry and hotels.

The White Rock (British Columbia, Canada) Fire Rescue Department designed this FORT GARRY FIRE TRUCKS rescue pumper with a spacious cab and plenty of storage space for various inventory, says Deputy Chief Ed Wolfe. The unit responds first-out to all calls including suppression, emergency medical services, hazmat, and technical rescue.
