Five people were rescued from an apparently vacant motel in downtown Las Vegas on Friday morning, according to a report.

The Review Journal reports that firefighters responding to the call just after 2 a.m. found five people inside the two-story structure. The victims are believed to be squatters, the report said. One was taken to the hospital with noncritical injuries.

One person had to be taken out by ladder from the window, and another two were taken from the roof of the building, Las Vegas Fire & Rescue spokesman Tim Szymanski told KSNV.

According to a Tweet from Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, the vacant hotel is on the same block next buildings which have had a number of squatter related fires in the past, including the El Cid.

More details on the call can be found HERE.

The rescue follows some high-profile cases in which rescues were made in abandoned structures, including a rescue on Valentine’s Day when firefighters and deputies in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, worked together to rescue a woman from a boarded-up home.
