The Ottawa County Fire District 2 in Minneapolis, Kansas, uses this WEIS FIRE & SAFETY EQUIPMENT COMPANY quick-attack unit equally as a first-out truck for rescue calls, explains Chief Mike Smith. It replaced a smaller rescue truck which did not have a pump or water tank and had less cab seating.

- front-mounted RAMSEY six-ton winch;
- three wheel well sleeves for spare SCBA cylinders;

The Fenton (MO) Fire Protection District uses this ROSENBAUER pumper with telescoping waterway to protect industrial and warehouse occupancies containing tall one-story buildings, large two-story dwellings, and for roof access and master stream applications, explains Deputy Chief John Batterton. The short wheelbase and single axle makes setup easier.

The Vancouver (BC) Fire Department uses its SVI TRUCKS air/light truck to provide on-site SCBA refilling and fireground support at major alarms, says Deputy Chief Tom McEwan. The unit responds to third alarms and special requests from the incident commander, and can also be set up as a rehab center.
