About FireIce

FireIce is a dry powder that when hydrated produces an eco-friendly, water-based fire retardant and suppressant that can be used in all types of fire apparatus, including fire extinguishers and first response units.  It has the versatility to be used as both a suppressant to extinguish fires and a retardant to protect close-range property and equipment from catching on fire. It has the unique quality of withstanding extremely high temperatures, which uniquely and cost-effectively enables it to be used on traditionally difficult fires to suppress, such as tire fires, magnesium, carbon fiber and fiberglass.
