Literature is available on two new protective materials from Southern Mills, Inc.
The first, Arafelt, is a needled felt made of 100% aramid fibers; it offers a single-layer construction for liners instead of the multiple layers currently being used in most protective boots and gloves. The second, Aralite, is a new, lightweight quilt package consisting of a 100% aramid batt quilted to a Nomex pajama check face cloth.
