Submissions for conference
The International Association of Fire Chiefs seeks submissions for papers to be presented at its annual conference next year in Indianapolis.
Anyone interested should submit a 75-word proposal to the association by Oct. 28. Committee members will select the proposals to be developed into papers for the conference.
Suggested topics for “The Spirit of Success, IAFC 89” include safety, health, specialized rescue, human resources, fireground operations, and women and minorities.
The 75-word, typewritten abstract should be sent to the IAFC Professional Development Department, 1329 18th Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20036-6516.
