Firefighters were hampered by water supply issues when responding to a fire that went to five alarms in Salem, Kenosha County, Wisconsin. Fire photographer Tim Olk shared some shots from the fireground.
More than 52,000 gallons of water had to be used to control the fire, which occurred in a part of the building that housed a transmission shop, according to FOX 6 News. There are no fire hydrants in the area, so firefighters had to bring water to the scene, nearly draining the local water tower and making use of water from a local lake.
Firefighters from 15 different departments in Wisconsin and Illinois responded, the report said.
