CO Firefighter Falls Through Roof of Vacant Building

Denver (CO) – A Denver firefighter fell 20 feet through the roof of a vacant building at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday night.

Crews responded to a dumpster fire at 3860 Blake Street; the firefighter was checking the roof of a nearby building to be sure the fire did not spread.

The firefighter was taken to the hospital with severe injuries after falling through a skylight of the vacant building.
