The St. Cloud (MN) Fire Department designed this ROSENBAUER rescue pumper with a curbside/rear pump panel for operator safety, says Assistant Chief Gary Fletcher. The rear pump also allows for more storage space, which includes an extrication/rescue compartment.

The Tewksbury (MA) Fire Department uses this FOSTER RESCUE PRODUCTS trailer for air, light, and power to support confined space and trench rescue, explains Captain Mike W. Sitar Jr. He tells us that it is an economical way to obtain a specialty vehicle that is self supportive and can be left at a scene for extended periods. The trailer is also available for mutual aid, and the city has embarked on an eight-year sewer replacement project for which it will be useful.

The Henrico County (VA) Fire and Emergency Medical Services chose a medium-duty chassis for its two PL CUSTOM Titan ALS ambulances. Captain Stan Langford says the larger size offers more durability, greater mileage for service, availability of a heavy-duty transmission, improved climate control, and increased compartment space for turnout gear.
