Traveling with the Fire Safety Dogs!

Hi boys and girls!  Welcome to Sparkles’ Kids Zone on Firelife.com!

Siren and Tango have been very busy traveling! In the past couple of months they have traveled over 5,000 miles sharing fire safety!

The map below shows where the dogs have been! See all those blue stars? Those are the states that Tango and Siren have been to! Can you name all the states?

It was Siren’s very first time to go to Washington, DC! He was so excited! He visited some of the monuments there and he went to see Senator Boozman. Senator Boozman really supports fire safety! He gets a high paw!

Tango had a big time too! He got to go on his very own special trip, and he helped Firefighter Dayna with several fire safety events. One special day he shared fire safety at the North Canton Fire  Department in North Canton, Ohio. Special thanks to Chief Bacon and the firefighters for helping with our fire safety presentation. It was so pawsome! Thanks to our good friends at EdenPURE for sponsoring Tango’s trip!

Firefighter Chuck shared with the children why firefighters wear bunker gear. Firefighter Dayna and Firefighter Chuck shared with the boys and girls there that firefighters are your friends and that they are always there to help you!

One of the highlights of the trip for Tango (and Firefighter Dayna) was meeting Richard Karn. Mr. Karn played “Al” on Home Improvement. He was so very nice!
