Semi Truck Fire Halts Traffic on U.S. 75 in TX

RICHARDSON (TX) – Traffic is backed up in Richardson after a semi truck caught fire, shutting down lanes of a major highway.

Around 6:40 a.m., the 18-wheeler hit a median on southbound U.S. 75, near President George Bush Turnpike, and exploded.

The driver of the truck was able to get out and is said to be fine. No other vehicles were involved.
