Detroit (MI) Firefighter Performs Rescues En Route to Training

Three residents trapped inside a burning Detroit (MI) home on Thursday morning were rescued by Detroit Firefighter Don Adams, who was on his way to the fire academy for training.

The fire, which is suspicious in nature, began on the house’s porch and trapped the residents inside the basement. All the windows of the home were barred except for the basement windows. One of the male victims used a pipe to break some parts of a window. At that point, Adams appeared on scene to pull the man, his girlfriend, and her niece to safety, according to a report on myFOXDetroit.com.
