Scoop Stretcher

The head section of Ferno-Washington’s Model 65 Orthopedic Scoop Stretcher can now be folded over the torso section to make the stretcher more compact when not in use. The unit also features spring-lock pins and cam-loaded levers that lock into matching holes in the lower frame. The head section must be fully extended for folding.

The Model 65 allows EMTs to uncouple either or both ends and gently scoop a victim onto the stretcher without rolling, sliding, or twisting him, reducing the possibility of complicating the injuries.

An automatic latch hinge built into each end of the frame connects the stretcher halves.

The stretcher is constructed of heavy-duty polished tubular aluminum and three 2-inch nylon webbing restraint straps are included.
