Fire photographer Tim Olk offered some photos from the scene of an explosion and fire in Northbrook, Illinois, that spread to multiple homes.

According to ABC 7, the fire at a home in the village was caused by a blast and spread to two neighboring homes. No one was seriously injured, according to the report, and three families escaped the fire.

An off-duty firefighter was on his way to work when he spotted the fire. Workers were trying to determine whether it was caused by a gas leak. The home where the fire started is a total loss, fire officials told reporters.
