Elderly Receive Detectors
Senior citizens in Lynwood, Calif., have received over 1000 smoke detectors through the efforts of the Lynwood Fire Fire Fighters’ Association. The association began distributing free smoke detectors in January 1980.
The association, as well as city council funds and federal grant monies, paid for the detectors.
