Firefighters Respond to 3-Alarm Toronto Hospital Fire

Firefighters responded to a fire that occurred on the 12th floor of a hospital yesterday in Toronto, Ontario.

Toronto fire division commander Andrew Kostiuk told CBC News (http://bit.ly/1j7uwOq) that the Tuesday afternoon fire broke out in an electrical room at St. Michael’s Hospital and the room’s sprinkler systems extinguished most of the fire before emergency crews arrived.

There were no injuries and no patients needed to be transferred.
