Bob Manning has been appointed to the position of market development manager for Calavar Corp. In his new position, Manning will be responsible for marketing research which will lead the way to expand current uses of Calavar products and to open new markets.

Wren Sales, Inc. of Ashland, Ohio has been appointed to join the national group of dealers representing Superior ambulances.

The Wren group will take on dealer sales and service responsibilities for the eastern and southern territories of Ohio.

Douglas R. Williams, fire service coordinator for the Robert J. Brady Company of Bowie, Md., has been promoted to the position of marketing manager for the fire and emergency medical services division. As marketing manager, he will plan and supervise all research, marketing and promotional activities on all texts and media within the Fire/EMS areas, nationally.

R.W. Stoner has been appointed vice president of marketing at American LaFrance. A 20-year veteran in the fire apparatus industry, Stoner was previously vice president and general manager of King Seagrave, Ltd., Woodstock, Ontario, Canada. Prior to his five and one half years in Woodstock, Stoner served as president of Seagrave Fire Apparatus, Inc. and vice president of FWD. Corporation of Clintonville, Wis.

Robert L. Patton has been appointed vice president of corporate field marketing for Honeywell. He replaces John P. McCardle, who retired at the end of last year.

Robert Derby has been appointed to the position of general manager for the safety products division of Hurst Performance, according to an announcement by Mike Brick, vice president of safety products.

Among his new responsibilities will be the overall handling of domestic sales, product maintenance and manufacturing of the entire safety products line.
