Photos: CA Firefighters Increase Containment on Tick Fire

Firefighters in Southern California have increased containment of the Tick Fire in Santa Clarita. Fire photographer Rick McClure shared some images from the lines.

According to KABC, all evacuation orders have been lifted and crews have the fire about 70-percent contained as of Sunday. The fire reportedly burned more than 4,500 acres, and the region expected another bout of Santa Ana winds. At least 22 structures were destroyed and another 27 were damaged, with tens of thousands of homes considered in danger.

Firefighters in Northern California meanwhile struggled to battle the massive Kincade Fire.
