Video: Learning from a Dallas Mayday

A recent video released by Dallas (TX) Fire-Rescue looked at the circumstances behind a Mayday call the department experienced last year.

On November 27, 2018, a Mayday was called when Dallas firefighters with Engine 48 got into trouble while operating at a four-alarm fire at the Cambridge Park Apartments. In the video, members discuss how the firefighters became entrapped, rapid intervention team (RIT) deployment, the crucial edge training provided for the RIT, incident command’s involvement, and more.
