Miami Dade Fire Rescue – Research has demonstrated that cancer diagnosis for firefighters is statistically higher than the general population. This cancer epidemic impacts firefighters of all ages and ranks. Cancer has affected many Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) firefighters and their families.
